Sharks come in many sizes. Where’s the banana for scale?

Moanna grandma.

And why is that a shark and not a remora ?

Depending on the size of the shark I'm going to guess this ray has a wingspan anywhere between three and five hundred feet across

Those are two unlikely best friends going on a wild adventure together!

That looks like a Giant Oceanic Manta Ray, which are known to be up to 26 ft wide

I dont think thats a shark, I think its a cobia. Cobia are known to follow manta rays around like this, they aren't to distantly related from remoras.

Sharks don't count. We need bananas to scale correctly!

What Shark? That's too sma-- OH GOD

These do get really big but it is hard to tell how large this one is.

Quick reference, the posts on the short rail section would be 48” - 1200mm apart. That’s a big mf

Ok but how big is the shark?

This.. this is just ONE of the many reasons the ocean terrifies me.

They’ve got a couple of the huuuuge ones in the Atlanta aquarium. The size is mind boggling.

that's a space  ship

Appears to be a remora instead of a shark. Still big, but not overly so

Baby shark. Doot...doot...doot!

It’s like the ocean version of a dude trying to pick up a chick for hours.
